Linda Hohol is a well-known figure in the business and banking communities across Canada. Her career includes serving as president of the TSX Venture Exchange, executive vice-president of wealth management at CIBC, and board member of Alberta Treasury Branches.
She also sat as a member of a panel established by the provincial government to review board governance of provincial agencies, boards, and commissions in 2007.
Ms. Hohol is a board member on a number of organizations, including the Calgary Airport Authority, ATB Financial, the Canadian Foundation for Innovation, EllisDon Construction, and Export Development Canada. She has also served as chair of the advisory committee at the Banff Centre for Management, director of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, director of the Calgary Olympic Development Association, and member of the AESO Council.
She co-chaired the Calgary United Way Campaign in 2006, during which $50 million was raised. She currently sits on the board of the United Way of Calgary.
Ms. Hohol is a graduate of the executive development program at the Kellogg Business School, and has completed courses at the MIT Sloan School of Management and the International Banking Summer School in Japan. She is a fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
Ms. Hohol was named the recipient of the distinguished business leader award from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary in 2005.
Ms. Hohol is married to Milt and has two children. She skis, golfs, hikes, and travels for pleasure.
