A familiar name in the Strathcona County community will be sitting on the Alberta Health Services Board.

Teri Lynn Bougie, Edmonton resident, is experienced in both the business and governance worlds.

Ms. Bougie is an associate at the law firm Ahlstrom Wright Oliver and Cooper LLP. She is currently serving her sixth year as a board member of Sherwood Park Chamber of Commerce.

A graduate of the University of Alberta, Ms. Bougie holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Law. She has been practicing law for 12 years and participated in the negotiations leading to the settlement of the Residential School National Class Action.

Professionally, Ms. Bougie is a member of the Law Society of Alberta; the Law Society of the Yukon; the Law Society of the Northwest Territories; and the Law Society of Nunavut. She is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association; a member of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association and a member of the American Association for Justice.
