Palliser Triangle Health Advisory Council
Palliser Triangle Health Advisory Council is located in the southeastern-most corner of the province, representing municipalities like Medicine Hat, Brooks and Bassano.
The Health Advisory Councils’ purpose is to enhance and develop partnerships between the province’s diverse communities and Alberta Health Services.
Public participation is essential to improving the quality and accountability of health services. Continuing to draw on community members for feedback and input will help us meet our mission of providing a patient-focused, quality health system that is accessible and sustainable for all Albertans.

The public is invited to attend and observe Council meetings. To request to present at a meeting, please complete and submit a Request for Presentation and Agenda Items form.
Work Plans
Each Council will develop an annual Work Plan to be submitted to the Health Advisory Committee of the Board in September. The Work Plan will include the goals and objectives determined by the Council and include proposals for formal consultations and engagement activities with communities.
Annual Report
The Councils shall provide to the Health Advisory Committee of the Board an Annual Report of its activities for the previous fiscal year (April 1 – March 31).
Advisory Reports
In accordance with the Health Advisory Council Bylaws and Charter, the Councils are to advise and make recommendations to Alberta Health Services about any of the functions within the role of the Council.
